| ‘Tees
that Tease’ is the slogan of subversive new
‘fashion-meets-soft-porn’ clothing label,
SMUT. Their stunning collection of sexually-charged
tees have been building up a cult following of London’s
most discerning fashion heads since the label’s
launch in winter 2006. Bold, erotic prints including
the popular ‘Eat Me out’ design, are
softened and made wearable by the street edge aesthetic
of their collections. |

The
label, founded by product design graduate Sascha
Quiambao, eschews the seasonality of industry.
Setting trends as fast as they spring to mind
rather than waiting for the season to catch up
on style, the SMUT collection is conceived, designed,
hand-printed, in-store and sold-out within days.

Their
success has been largely due to the quality, originality
and subtle passion captured by the designs and
more importantly, that the prints, however smutty,
have never entered into the territory of tackiness.
Originally consisting of tees and vests (men and
women’s), the label has recently expanded
with the introduction of a sexy new underwear
and shorts range which is now available to buy
