on Spring |
If
you’re in New York this winter, look out for
the opening of Wooster on Spring– a 3-day
exhibition brought to you by the international artist
network, the Wooster Collective. Final event details
are yet to be disclosed, but the event is scheduled
to commence on Friday December 15 at the 11 Spring
building in Manhattan. The Wooster Collective have
invited an incredible line-up of artists to paint
inside the building including WK, Blek Le Rat, Shepard
Fairey, JACE, Bo and Microbo, D*Face, Maya Hayuk,
Lister, Prune, JR, RIPO, Thundercut, Skewville,
Elboe-Toe, Jasmine Zimmerman, You Are Beautiful,
Dan Witz, Judith Supine, Above, Rekal, Gore-B, FAILE,
The London Police, Rene Gagnon, Gaetane Michaux,
Darkclouds and surprise guests.
The artwork will only be available to view for the
3-day opening as the venue’s new owners will
begin construction and restoration of the building
following the event. In addition to curating this
event, Wooster will also be presenting a programme
of film screenings, panel discussions and DJ sets.
