A HUMAN
Much-lauded
east London band, A Human are
a 3-piece electro, blues &
rock outfit who are “about
to do for music what Rod Hull
has done for cable TV.”
The band, who are signed to
the Wall of Sound label and
currently working on their debut
album, produce a sound which
evokes an image and atmosphere
of London that is in equal parts
funny, awkward and surreal.
Each song tells a bizarre story
that is brought to life through
their energetic live performances.

FROM UNDERGROUND
Carhartt
& PIMP Magazine joined forces
in December to bring Londoners
a live showcase of some of the
most exciting musicians hailing
from the East End. Noise from
Underground – hosted at
East End club, 93 Feet East
– saw acclaimed bands
A Human, the Bleeps and Brown
Sauce pouring in to sing their
tales of London life with a
special guest appearance from
US hip hop artist, Mickey Avalon
and additional DJ sets by George
Demure and Mat Anthony.
